Putting People First

Our ongoing commitment to our colleagues and customers with reference to Covid 19.

Our pledge

As of Monday 19th July 2021, there is no legal requirement to wear face masks or practice social distancing, but we are still implementing and encouraging a number of measures to keep you, our customers, and our staff, safe. Thank you in advance for helping to keep everyone safe.

01

Safety first

First, we pledge that only safe and healthy people will visit our customers’ businesses, and we will be well on the day of the appointment with no signs of illness in the previous two weeks. This includes any family the staff member lives with.

02

Practical measures

We may wear a face mask and where appropriate we may also wear disposable gloves.

On entry to the building we may ask if we can wash our hands and/or we may also apply sanitizer.

03

Virtual documents

To limit social contact, where possible, all paperwork and agreements will be signed online. If this is not possible, we would book in an appointment for the customer to drop the documents in to the office. We would ask that these meeting times are booked in. Again, this is to ensure safety for everyone and avoid a number of visitors entering the office at any one time.

I'll guide you to amazing places

Yoozoom is continuing to carefully monitor the situation with Covid 19.

Yoozoom has well established Business Continuity Plans that are in place and we are prepared for any potential impact to our network or operations. Our policy is to act in accordance with the stated guidance from governments and local authorities, while continuing to provide the best possible service to our customer.

Yoozoom’s priority is to ensure the health and safety of their employees, customers and other stakeholders, as well as the continuity of Yoozoom's services. As a result, Yoozoom has established a specific taskforce to ensure seamless operations throughout this situation, which includes making provisions for all services to remain fully operational and equipped with the needed equipment and supplies. Yoozoom are also taking steps to ensure that the platform and service desk are able to operate seamlessly throughout this period.

Remote Working for your business

We would like to make you aware that our Cloud Communications & Video Meetings platform can easily deliver various solutions if your business requires. There are many ways of achieving continuity of service e.g. Video Meeting, Softphone, Mobile App or by plugging a physical phone into a remote workers router or simply re-routing calls to a user’s mobile or home number. If you need further advice or have any questions about any of the above solutions, please speak to a member of the Yoozoom team on 0113 887 8000 or email enquiries@yoozoom.co.uk

Yoozoom are also complying with government and public health organisation guidance in order to keep everyone safe.

Our response to an increase in the severity of COVID-19 will be as follows:

  • A regular communication plan will be established.
  • Remote working for staff.
  • Video meeting & calling to replace face to face meetings.
  • Site visitor checks.

Yoozoom have successfully tested ability to deliver services remotely, including the capability to monitor systems and platforms remotely. We have provided employees with the tools necessary to deliver their duties from a remote location. Where appropriate, Yoozoom will segregate workforce into teams that can operate from different locations, thereby minimising the risk. Yoozoom is also reviewing key supplier contingency plans to assess appropriateness in managing supply chain disruption risk.

With immediate effect, anyone who is experiencing flu-like symptoms, including fever, is advised not to visit a Yoozoom site. Anyone who has recently travelled to an area that has experienced a case of infection, should also not attend a Yoozoom site.

All visitors to a Yoozoom site will be required to confirm that they are not experiencing flu-like symptoms, whether or not they have travelled to an area known for cases of the virus within the last 14 days or have come into contact with anyone who may have contracted the virus. All visitors are expected to practice elevated levels of personal hygiene while at a Yoozoom site. This includes washing hands with soap & using sanitising gel. Hand sanitisers have been placed at the entrances to our sites. Liquid soap, disposable towels and hand dryers are available in our restrooms.

Please also consider the below

Anyone who displays symptoms is requested to stay at home, self-isolate and call 111 for further advice.

Anyone who has travelled to an affected area is instructed to stay at home and self-isolate.

Anyone who has been in close contact with someone who has travelled to an impacted area is also required to stay at home and self-isolate
